Description
The Volvo is in the condition indicated by the meter reading. The car has largely been driven in Norrland, and it was most likely never welded. The engine has been updated from a B230FT to a B230FK, according to the current owner.
Prior to inspection, the car received new brake calipers VF and VB, as well as new rear discs. HF spindle joint replacement. Today, the car rides on superb Michelin studded tires on Volvo LM rims. The summer tires are not supplied. Newly inspected/MOT in January of 2022.
Registered with T31B engine modified, i.e. it most likely had a Volvo original Turboplus package fitted at some time in the car's existence, giving 190hp instead of the original 160hp.

When the car is cold, it is difficult to start and the steering servo chops somewhat. Except for the OD (overdrive), it works well in the engine and driveline.

Condition: worn and well-used, with cracks and upholstery, as shown in images. The turbo meter is broken, and the AC's function is unknown. Headliner that is partially damaged and are suspended, as seen in the images.

Facts about the model
700-serien introducerades med Volvo 760 som lanserades i februari 1982. 1984 kom den enklare och billigare systermodellen Volvo 740, som byggdes fram till 1992. 740 Turbo erbjöds med samma turbomotor som 760 Turbo. Volvo 740 blev tidvis kallad "Sossecontainer" eftersom det var en bil vanlig hos arbetarklassen. Detta uttryck ska dock inte förknippas med systermodellen Volvo 760 som var en lyxbil på den tiden.

- At this auction, many vehicles have been included in car collections and have been stored (mothballed) for a long time. For this reason, they are described from a collector's perspective and may need technical reviews and maintenance service - oil, battery replacement, new tires, brake review, etc. - before they can be used. .
- During the auction days information about a vehicle may be updated up to the day before the auction ends. When you bid at the end of the auction period - and also if you have made an earlier bid - we therefore ask you to read the descriptions carefully, in case something has been changed due to new information.
Important to know before placing your bids!
- Once you have called in an item and the reservation price is reached we want you to deposit the entire purchase amount into our client funds account before retrieval can take place.
- When you need to retrieve a called in object we want you to examine it carefully. If you consider that the item does not match our description you do not need to complete the purchase. In this case the deposited purchase sum and the entry fee are refunded.
- If you do not examine the item on the spot the call charge will be debited, but you do not have to complete the deal.
- If you make the entire purchase exclusively at a distance you have 14 days to cancel, but must return the item at your own expense.
- Your shipping costs and other costs are not reimbursed when the right of withdrawal is exercised. Swedish court applies.
